The chimney showed clear signs of weathering and moss growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, we carefully removed the existing moss. Then, the entire chimney was excavated and repointed with high-quality, weather-resistant mortar. The old lead was also replaced with a durable lead substitute with an expected lifespan of no less than 50 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new cement top plate has been installed on top to protect against water ingress.
